Here are some of my favorite sites that have many wonderful downloads, tutorials, and all around bunch of great folks who, like me, have a great love for design--and sims!!!

http://snootysims.com/ Snootysims has dedicated itself to informing the community to everything that comes up with the sims 2. They always have the latest on upcoming games. They also share other sites information as well. They list all the games, all the cheats for said games, pictures, and even some downloads for clothing. They also list tutorials for building as well

I also don't condone having someone pay for content that is owned by EA/Maxis. None of the sites I endorse here are paysites. With that said, here is a site that tells it pretty much like it is.

See? Not everyone feels you owe them money for their talents. There are plenty of sites that do not charge, so I wouldn't worry.

And we are all entitled to our opinions here, so no worrying about it okay?

I have never charged anyone for any of my creations. Any time it has been threatened to do so, I left the community-for just that reason. I don't think it's right. It's not our company, just our game we bought from them. We just borrow their parts for a short time to make newer parts from what they loaned us....

Also, none of the people who make the stuff I use, and endorse in my creations, want their stuff (makeup, meshes, etc) in a paysite--and I don't blame them! I found one of my creations on the exchange once, and challenged the gal for it....she had used MY Fakeem, changed his name only, then offered him up on the exchange as HER creation!!! Such nerve! It was not only MY creation, but the meshes (hair and outfit) of LordDragonStone, the outfit redesign by GrandDuchessEmerald, and my sim! GDE noticed it first, and allerted the rest of us.

I do my creations on my sites for the love of creation, to challenge myself to further my own experience with it. To see if I can actually do it! LOL

There have been many happy mistakes in doing this too!
I love sharing, love learning, love playing with all the stuff in the programs I work with......*geez I'm droning on again.....sorry--- LOL

I love making celebrity sims, but I started off doing self sims for others in the community. There was so much demand for them--all of them!

Real life has always taken more priority for me, so it takes me a bit longer on some of my sims.....I have two kids, and they are the light of my life! One of them even gave me a grandson to hug and enjoy when my son brings him over to see me!

I'm glad you are comfy here! I have seen so many times people are just nice to you until they get what they want, then they pull a 'stooge' on that person. By telling it like I feel, you know exactly where you stand.

Like Skye, I don't give a flying fart in space if you like me or not for my opinion. If you don't ..... well then buh bye! Don't hurt my feelings a bit! Don't let the door hit you where the Good Lord split you on your way out! lol
