Oh yeah, I guess I just didn't do the 'what I do in real life' thing, did I?
I am a mother of 21 year old boy/man/son, 11 year old girl/daughter/onry one (like her mom), one daughter in law, and one grandson.
I have quite a few family members on here, I"m happy to say, who are just as onry as I myself am. Two of my sisters Chaos and Mel come on here, and I pride myself on having gotten them hooked on the game; as well as my two nieces who are so cute they know it! As is my daughter on here.
It was my son who got me hooked on Sims, waaay back when it was PS2 and Sims: Bustin' Out. We enjoyed their antics so much just listening to them, that it was only a matter of time when I tried it; and got hooked!
Having these games have helped me through some truely terrible times; like when we had to wait for a scary surgery (one of many for her) for my mom. When I broke my foot, and moving anywhere was a new experience in pain. When I became a divorced woman, and needed to 'vent' my frustrations on an unfair situation.
When I was divorced, and needed to find something to practice my artwork on, it was once again the sims that I turned to. I learned how to improve on my clothing design with those programs, as well as the paintshop and archsoft one. It's been a wonderful experience!
I find I'm still learning new things. I recently stopped doing so many of the celebs and started playing bits of the game. I get to torture anyone in the game that I want to. (and yes, I did make my ex into a sim just so I could torture him a bit--when I first divorced him) These days I like to try my hand at my first love. Drawing. Maybe I will put some of that up, while I'm goofing off with all of that stuff.
I have been on quite a few sites, and in the end am proud of what I have done. I look at some of them and they are right on the money.
I enjoy leaving some of the things I have in my bookmarks and favorites on this site for to share with all of you in the community. If you look at them, you will see that there is no end to the creativity that is the Sims 2. And I will still be here when Sims 3 comes out. My pc won't be able to handle all that extra that the new game needs to play; so I'll stick with my sims 2. And there will be many more-as long as this big ol' beast computer holds out on me!
You all have a great day, and I do hope you enjoyed my ramblings here!
Happy Simming, ya'll!
Skye
