new features in the patch (already live as of yest)

new profession - inscription
Barbershop
updated graphics
achievements.

in the expansion pack (out next month)

level up to level 80
northend - new island
100s of new recipies / armor / items
Deathknight hero class
2 person mounts
new battlegrounds for PVP play
