| as anyone whos ever played warcraft three will know, the playable races are split into two factions - these factions are at war so choose carefully!
HORDE:
orc troll tauran undead bloodelf
ALLIANCE:
human dwarf gnome nightelf dranei (i will add photos tomorow when im not stuck with just my crummy laptop lol)
when you have picked a race (i tend to go alliance with mine) you need to pick a class to play:
hunter - can tame wild beasts as pets to fight for them, use ranged weapons best (guns, bows ect) is limited to leather armour til lvl 40 and then mail.
warrior - melee killing machines - can use any weapon or armor including plate.
Paladin - also a melee character but with the ability to use some spell, paladins can also heal both themselves and other players. not restricted in what armor they can waer. shaman - a nice mixture of spell damage and melee, shamans can wear leather until 40 and then mail, they can heal and produce totems which give short "buffs" or bonuses to other players.
Druid - leather wearing shapeshifters, these characters can shift into various forms such as cat or bear with different benefits for each form. they can also do decent spell damage in caster form and heal.
mage - the highest damage dealing o any spellcaster but limited to wearing cloth armor only
warlock, a cross between mage and hunter, warlocks use dark magic to summon demons to fight for them, they are ranged spellcasters and can wear cloth only.
Priest - sometimes thought f as the hardest class to play priests are healers. they dont do a lot of damage (unless talented in shadow) but are awesome healers with great abilities such as being able to "bubble" themselves, casting a sheild which prevents them from taking damage for a set period of time. | |
