My Addiction!

My other huge gaming passion is WoW.

It is a fantasy game set in a war striken world. you pick your class and race and off you go adventuring ....

The entire game is completely multiplayer and over time you make friends there, it has its idiots and the like - as all these communities do ut if you find th right groups and guilds its a rewarding experience.
Either trek through quests, explore multiplayer co-op dungeons or take it to the battle feild and fight player v player (which i hate lol - they're all better than me ) or, forget all that fighting rubbish and strive to become wealthy and buy everything u want from the player to player auction houses :P !!
Beware though - all sims addicts - this is the game which i found more addicting than the sims 2!!

Should anyone have an account i can be found on the bronzebeard uk server and i run a medium sized guild of friends (200 atm) My character is a human warlock named grisselda and my guild is The lost souls so come find me :D

Hehehe, I have all I can handle with the sims right now! I'm such a junkie for sims ..... oops, forgot- I was not supposed to mention sims, was I-my bad!

So how much is an account for that game? Do you buy the game and pay for playing online too? Not sure about all that stuff....

yeah - >.< unfortunately it is sub based - the game is £20 or so (in the uk) the expansion packs are about £15 each (only one and another due soon) and then it's £8 a month to use their servers so not toooo bad. Costs me less than keeping upto date with sims 2 expansion packs, stuff packs, pay site custom content lol.

I swore i'd never pay a sub for a game bu i played the free trial and got hooked lol - luckily so did my husband so he ungraded our accounts lol. I wouldn't be without it now though - all my RL friends play (well - most of them) and we meet up a couple of times a week and party wow style lol.

I would never have believed the thrill you get when you've spent a few hours farming (killing same mobs over and over) and suddenly the item i'm looking for drops - its odd - grissy (my character) is a part of me now :) she's my living, chatty side lol - in RL im very shy
I love some of my wow friends very much - one of my best wow friends is in russia - another in sweeden - people i'd never have met but for wow :)

Its just a game - as like any other - but the people are real and thats what gives it its edge

So much more done than with sims, then? You don't have to spend all your time trying to create-you just get in there and play with your friends! That is great!
