| hello all, I'm pretty much new to the sims, I've been around a little over a year, created a few things, made a few friends, and recently a few enemies, but it's all good Ike almost killed my computer, and I'm currently simless and I'm watching my first "Sim Drama" unfold, we'll talk in the "gossip room" I almost didn't sign up, cause I think it's all ladies here, I hope I'm welcome, I'm harmless, think of me as yer grandpa | |

| Hey Slim!!! Glad to see you here! Glad you joined, and are here to yakety yak with!!! I have a feeling you're not the only guy in this site. We've yet to meet our fellow members here, but I'm sure when they come out to visit, we will all enjoy a great visit with them as well! I have seen your creations, and really enjoyed them a bunch!!! So you're simless at the moment? I have no fear that you'll soon catch up with all of it real soon. (spoken like a true downloads junkie!!) My bro in law and my ex were 'closet simmers' that is, they played when the rest of us were in bed for the night! | |

| well thanks ladies, maybe the rest of the guys are just kinda intimidated, maybe if they see me, they'll speak up and say hi
I'll give you a quick rundown on Slim
first off, and make no mistake, I'm an old hippy, and proud of it
i used to post alot on the AOL message boards, 7 years to be exact, I used to talk about the war, before there even was one, nobody listened, I got sick of the drama and arguing, and looked for something else to soak up my spare time
about a year ago, my life underwent a big change, and I started to sim, to fill the void, I won't go into the details, this is an introduction, not therapy, we'll move on for now
I love to cook, and proud of the fact I have a garlic press, meat thermometer, matching knife set, and know how to make homemade chicken and noodles, I even make my own noodles
I love old cars, about any kind of music except for opra and country, but I'm particularily fond of blues and Motown, but as my mood changes, so does my taste in music
I love scarey movies, especially if there's a zombie in them
when it comes to simming, my thing is realism, clothes on the bathroom floor, boxes in the attic, electrical outlets behind the bed, and a water heater in the basement
someday if you like, and once I get my 'puter unborked, I'll put together a list of links to "realism stuff" I think it would fit in here, things like light switches, ironing boards, assorted pots and pans, kitchen utensils, salt and pepper shakers, throw pillows things that every house has, but are often overlooked in sim world
well, that's enough for now, I'm getting hungry.......... fried potatoes sound good
have a wonderful simday, peace-n-love y'all

| Oh yeah, have to have the spook ones! I was addicted when I was very young, and it never got old for me! I was SOOO naughty when I was a teen. I would go to the movies with my 'boyfriend' and his buddies OR with my younger sister (Yep I corrupted a 10 yr old!) and we would sit there in the theater. By this time I was rather jaded, and some of the movies were pretty silly they were so corny---so we would go in and harrass the other watchers.....not voicing......muahahahahaha.....I would toss a piece of candy their way (hit the cement floor) just at the 'right moment' when they were about to get 'got' in the movie.....OH BOY!!!!! There were some screamers in there!!!!!! I had a BLAST!!! (aren't I TERRIBLE???) Or we would make funny comments at just the right moment. Usually folks who went in there were a bunch of us kids, so it was all in good fun..... This vampire dog is after this man (really, this was a movie) the man falls down the steps of this outside slum building. He is lying there. The dog appears at the top of the stairs, looking down at this man lying there.....suddenly you hear "CHOW TIME" from the back! (we always sat in the back) I dont recall the name of that movie, but I do recall this other one....Food of the Gods.....it was really something...giant rats, mosquitoes, bees, worms..... Oh boy, did I get but it had to be said!!!! (aint I a stinker?? This was like the seventies sometime, and soooo much fun!!!! Okay, so I didn't always act that way. I actually had a few times when we did get the pee scared outta us.....and we were unmerciful to each other-us sisters. Someone would have a guest overnight....the other two would sneak up on the camper and either rock it, or scratch on the sides of it!!!! Muahahahaha (and you didn't believe me when I said I was onry Dollface.....) | |

| Nah, you didn't steal it, i'm looking right at it
anyhow, I'm kinda that way too, I'll grab you right as Jason busts through the door
I always look at it as "why do you watch a scarey movie, except to get scared, i'm just enhancing the experience a bit
we used to have this nutty next door neighbor, and an evil friend named Jennifer, well Jennifer told her the place was haunted, I had this tape called "spooky sounds of halloween" I'd put it on at 3 am and walk down the hall, and scratch on the wall seperating to two apartments, next day she'd tell Jenny, 'you're right, this place is haunted, I heard some wierd noises last night"
